August is the WWFF activity month for 2024 – as it was in 2023. For those participating there will be awards available if you meet the requirements of hunting at least 22 references or activating with at least 220 QSOs during the month of August (see below).
In 2023 during the WWFF activity month an impressive 1430 references were activated in 47 DXCC in AF, AS, EU, NA, OC and SA by 463 Activators, working more than 46000 hunters.
The event runs from August 1, 0:00 UTC till August 31, 23:59 UTC. We will allow some time for the activators to send in the logs and the coordinators to check them and upload them to WWFF. You can expect to have awards ready for download on September 15.
The following awards will be made available specifically for this event.
Activator participation award: at least 220 QSOs made from valid WWFF reference(s) and a special Activator 1K award for those that manage to make 1000 QSOs from valid WWFF reference(s).

Download award after the event
Allowing activators and coordinators two weeks time to process logs after the event, we will generate awards and make them available for download from Sept 16. Once the awards have been uploaded you can check if there is an award available for you by entering your callsign (without prefix or suffix) in the textbox below. If there is an award for you, a link will appear that you can click on. A file (.jpg or .zip) will then download automatically.
