Good day, everyone,
My name is Wayne, N3CDF, and I recently joined the WWFF program. I also volunteer as a POTA Mapping Representative.
I recently started a discussion on QRZ about POTA, WWFF, and KFF: https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?threads/pota-wwff-kff.1007706/
One concern that continues to come up is the WWFF website and the difficulty of finding basic information. Even with some experience building websites, I struggled to locate essential details, including logging requirements and where to submit logs.
I’ve also raised the subject in several Facebook groups, and the feedback has been remarkably consistent: users find the website cluttered, and the information difficult to locate.
I offer this as constructive feedback, not criticism. I believe the website could benefit from an overhaul that makes information easier to find, and the program simpler to navigate and participate in.
My question is straightforward: Are there any plans for a major website redesign or improvement in the near future?
I am working to build interest and support for WWFF here in the USA but making the program more accessible and user-friendly would go a long way toward attracting new participants and encouraging continued involvement.
I would appreciate hearing whether improvements to the website are being considered
Best Regards
Wayne Fussell
