    Hi,

I have been advised that last month Gerard VK2IO was able to apply for the Diamond ZLFF Hunter certificate with 41 ZLFF parks, when the required number is actually 50.

Could somebody please check to ensure there is not a bug.

    Many thanks,

    Paul VK5PAS

Appears the same has happened for Peter VK3PF.

    There is a problem.

Bronze ZLFF – 10 ZLFF references
Silver ZLFF – 20 ZLFF references
Gold ZLFF – 30 ZLFF references
Platinum ZLFF – 40 ZLFF references
Diamond ZLFF – 50 ZLFF references
Sapphire ZLFF – 75 ZLFF references

I can see no problem with the code.

Thanks for the response Andrew. Not sure why it has taken 6 months for a response?

I have no idea why this occurred with VK2IO and VK3PF?

    Hi Andrew,
The issue is that a GCR for Diamond ZLFF Hunter is emitted at 40 parks and a GCR for Platinum ZLFF Hunter is emitted at 50 parks. These award names are reversed in the code. Hope it can be tracked down.

    Kind Regards,
    Gerard – VK2IO

    Thanks Gerald…

Sometimes things are so obvious, you see right through them -especially when it was you writing it in the first place.

This has now been fixed 🙂

    Thanks Andrew.

A subtle one. Glad it’s squashed.

    Cheers,

On a related issue, the mouse-over popup help on the button for selecting the ZLFF-H-… award shows Six classes including Diamond (40) and Platinum (50). These two are reversed.
It should show Platinum (40) and Diamond (50).

    Cheers,
    Gerard

    Hi Andrew,

Here are the ZLFF award levels.

Bronze ZLFF – 10 ZLFF references
Silver ZLFF – 20 ZLFF references
Gold ZLFF – 30 ZLFF references
Platinum ZLFF – 40 ZLFF references
Diamond ZLFF – 50 ZLFF references
Sapphire ZLFF – 75 ZLFF references

Are you also able to implement the next levels for ZLFF Hunter?

    After 75, it will be…

    ZLFF Hunter Honour Roll 100
    ZLFF Hunter Honour Roll 125
    ZLFF Hunter Honour Roll 150.
etc. Increasing in increments of 25 ZLFF references.

    Thanks,

    Paul VK5PAS

    Hi,

There is still a glitch in the ZLFF awards.

I recently received a Diamond ZLFF Hunter award application from ZL3JD.

It turns out he thought he was applying for the Platinum ZLFF Hunter as he has worked 43 ZLFF references.

The Platinum ZLFF Hunter Award is for 40 ZLFF references.

The Diamond ZLFF Hunter Award is for 50 ZLFF references.

If something could please be done to remedy this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Paul,

I passed this on to the IT team and they are working on it. Initial feedback I got was that the bug has been located, so there should be a fix soon.
