General Rule Question – Remote Station

Hi All,

Concerning the prohibition of contacts using a remote station, the rules do not state if this counts for activators or hunters or both.

Taking into account that for the foreseeable future, the numbers of remote stations will continue to grow, would a contact with a hunter using a remote station (because he can’t put up antennas at home) be valid for WWFF?

Activators using remote stations though, is indeed very pointless.

Hi Yannick,

Hunters doing remote is just fine. This would probably be good to spell out explicitly in the next edition of the rules.
