Logsearch Update – September 2017

The first update for September has just been released, featuring:

  • A number of new awards:
    • Next step in the GxFF awards for both Activators and Hunters (level 77)
    • Next step in the P2P award (level 444)
    • PRA Greenfest Award (on the Special Awards tab)
  • The support of the new digital sub-modes: FT8 and JT65C
  • On the DX Entities page, allow the selection of VEFF to show the appropriate subset of States/Territories
  • Some minor tweaks and fixes.

Note

I am more than happy to add new awards (both National and Special) but please:

  1. Discuss the qualification with me before hand – what may appear a simple qualification may not be so easy to code!
  2. Give me more than a couple of day’s notice!

Development of Logsearch has to fit around family and work commitments!

Expressions of interest are sought for the position of South American Continental Representative.

Continental reps are elected members of the WWFF Committee.  Their role is to represent the various National co-ordinators within their particular region.

New version FLE WWFF logging

DF3CB, Bernd, announcing a new version of the popular WWFF/SOTA logging software FLE 2.9 (Aug 10,2017).

This logging software is perfectly creating the ADIF file that is ready to upload to the LogSearch database (including Park to Park QSO’s)

 

 

New features in the 2.9 version :

  • Integrated log upload to LoTW (ARRL Logbook of The World) using TQSL.
  • QSL Messages valid for the entire log can now be entered in the header section of the log (for eQSL etc.).
  • New digital modes FT8 and T10 added. All modes synchronized with the ADIF specification.
