Highlights:
- Open to all WWFF Activators and Hunters worldwide
- Celebrates the summer solstice by providing hunters everywhere with the opportunity to boost their reference totals
- Features Special Event Stations (SES), using 1×1 callsigns (e.g., N5G).
- Hunters are encouraged to contact multiple SESs, with recognition for working 5+ SESs, or achieving a “Clean Sweep” of all SESs
- SES station details and QRZ pages will be updated at event start.
Certificates of Achievement:
- Hunters: Contact 10 WWFF references and/or 5 SESs (in increments of 5)
- Activators: Activate 2 WWFF references with at least 44 QSOs each
- Certificate Request: Send email to n9mm.norm@gmail.com with total references worked, or activated, and # SESs stations logged. No log data required.

Donna (XYL) and I love to go on “Great Adventures” so this time we headed to Big Bend Country in southwest Texas. On the way south from our home in Colorado Springs, we made a stop in Roswell, New Mexico.
I had a fun time activating here. I sat down and started calling CQ and the first person to pop in was K7CAR, Kent! We chatted a bit about KFF/POTA and he’s going to think about joining. He must have called N7SMT, because David stopped by shortly after. It was great to have 2 people I’d chased come by for a visit! Thanks for spotting me too! I got several folks asking if this was a continuation of NPOTA and I explained about POTA and WWFF and sent them to our web page. One was very happy I was there and will get signed up and chase WWFF this year. He did a healthy 400+ NPOTA chases last year.
