Park to Park – Updating Existing Logs

A question I have been asked several times, is:

How can I add P2P information for my existing logs?

This is how:

Go to Logsearch and run your search (with Hunter selected)…

  1. Select QSOs
  2. Click on Download – this will create and download a CSV file names logsearch.csv
  3. Edit the file, to add any P2P information in the HunterRef column
  4. Email the revised log to me at wwff_log_corrections AT wwff DOT co

One is your and second is your partner from other park. After ADIF log is ready, open with text editor and add “SIG_INFO” where it need as: <SIG_INFO:9>XXFF-3795 or <SIG_INFO:8>FFF-0795 where you have P2P QSO XXFF-3795 and FFF-0795 is an example. Save it and sent out.”

Logsearch Update – May 2017

The first update for May has just been released, featuring a number of new awards:

  • The migration of the Directory Manager
  • Next step in the GxFF awards (level 22)

Directory Manager

I am pleased to announce that I have completed the porting of Directory Manager to be an integral part of the WWFF Logsearch plugin.

For the majority of users, this is an entirely transparent move – however, it now means that the Directory Master is an integral part of THIS site, rather than being managed through the ‘old’ Logsearch site, and periodically sync-ed… this should mean there are fewer delays ion getting changes made to the ‘live’ Directory, and in particular it means only one code-base to be maintained.

My thanks to Danny ON4VT for helping test this.

With this, the ‘old’ Logsearch will now be decommissioned, once an for all 🙂

Directory

The expansion of the North American directory continues apace, with the addition of a further 265 State areas, in IL, IN and WI.

Logsearch support and Log corrections

As (hopefully) the support team increases, we need to clarify the way that support requests are made.

For anyone who can log-in, please use the Forums as follows:

Please DO NOT send email if you can log-in!  If you send an email, only the recipient(s) will receive it, not necessarily the person who will action it!
