Activation of SVFF-0003 by SV team (SV2OYE-SV2NCH-SV2OXS-SY2BEX) 04 Feb2017.
Weather was great and helped us to sit several hours enjoying the day.The only negative was the propagation on 20m where we made only a few contacts. For the statistics: we made almost 300 QSO,most of them on 40m. Continue reading

On Fri 3rd Feb 2017, whilst away on holidays I activated the Creswick Regional Park VKFF-0964 which is located in Victoria.
Unfortunately I only had a very short time in the park and made a total of 32 contacts around Australia and into New Zealand.

On Wednesday 1st February 2017 I activated the Para Wirra Conservation Park VKFF-1739. Para Wirra meaning ‘river forest’ in the local Kaurna aboriginal language is 1,507 hectares in size and is situated north east of Adelaide. I made a total of 45 contacts on 80, 40, 20 & 15m SSB.

Today’s activation was very successful. I worked only on 7MHz with short dipole with twin-lid G5RV (“Black Mamba” hi, hi) did 240 QSO about 2 hours and my friend YU1JF Pedja worked with GP antenna of a fishing rod and 4 radials only 14 mhz and did it for the same time over 130 QSO. Continue reading
