We of the HBFF Committee have decided that, on request , we may issue the HBFF Awards by mode. The Award graphic will be the standard one; only there will be mentioned the operation mode.
Waiting for WWFF on this matter, 73 es 44 de Augusto HB9TZA

Thanks to tyhis, I have fouynd a bad mismatch in the log uploaded for HBFF-0107 these times … There has been a big mess: in fact, there were two stations there, and I suppose I have uploaded only the log of one station: both were into the HBFF-0107, but near two different lakes.: they were activating also the Swiss Lakes Referencres, one on TI020 and one on TI019. I was not there.
Now I need to control the WWFF log, but sorrily, I cannot find a way to download the one by WWFF … is this possible?
Or may you handle me a copy of it somehow?
Otherwise, we could erase the one then upload a new one ex-novo …but I would prefer to control the actual uploaded one with the others, then add the missing QSO by a not-in-log procedure.
What do you mean about this? Sorry for the problems and the time needed!
Hope you or Manfred may help me to fix this.

Thank you Kris!
I did not see it, but it’s interesting, of course, and answers what we were proposing.
Let us see what will Andrew M0YMA do!
Many thanks, 73 44

but the question is:
– will the Operator get credit ONLY if he has reached a minimum of 44 QSOs?
– or even if he has LESS than 44 QSOs?
In our HBFF is specified that every op get credit, (both Hunter and Activators, you know why…) no min QSO number required.
How is it in WWFF ?
It seems to me that, by looking in LogSearch, it only gives credit for more than 43 QSOs .
Thank you, 73 44.

No problems, Luk ON4BB , it was not urgent, HI.
I hope that we will never again get Hams coming in HB0 believing Liechtenstein having no national award and using WWFF rules. I do not know what else we may do to avoid that!
I made several messages on WWFF Facebook alerting about that; nonetheless, it happened again.
Further activators may feel offended or hurted or demotivated … some criticize, some made flame about that, too. It has been a big pity and a vaste of resources and time!
Thank you very much!

I have seen an error: under the HBFF Icona on the same poage,. where is actually ” HBFF Switzerland” the internet link is wrong!
It is actually ” http://hbff.ssfg-gsrc.ch/HBFF_Intro.htm/ ” but it should be ” http://hbff.ssfg-gsrc.ch/HBFF_Intro.htm ” without the ” / ” ; otherwise it gives the error ” 404 Page not found ”
When you change that text to ” HBFF Switzerland and Liechtenstein ” please also adjust that link, thanks!
For the HBFF Team, many thanks! 73 es 44 ,

Hi Luk ON4BB , there ius another thing that is necessary and urgent to coorect: in the page of the National Awards
undere the icona of HBFF stand:
Web : HBFF Switzerland
Coordinator : HB9TZA
Award manager : HB9FBI
Logmanager : HB9TZA
where is “HBFF Switzerland” should become ” HBFF Switzerland and Liechtenstein ”
I hope that so we will avoid the multiple mess of hams coming in HB0 and using only WWFF Rules !!!
It happens very often lately.
73 44, thanks
AugustoJune 11, 2018 at 14:23 in reply to: Who may / does ask for Log Corrections? #8288
I would like to add that, in order to keep all the Log Archives updated, it would be a better solution for the Hunters or Activators, that find or may have found an error, to write all these Error Data to the National Coordinator of that Reference National Award.
In such a way the Nat. Coord. keep all the Logs corrected and this will avoid possible future Mess.
I therefore strongly recommend to keep the National Coordinators involved in the Error Correction, while they wait to be able to correct the Log Errors themselves, as is on the To Do List.

thank you Luk ON4BBMarch 11, 2018 at 20:10 in reply to: Callsign Error in HBFF-0180 log #8024
Until now I used an adif logs error checker , but this time also it has proven not to be enough.
I did know it did not see O instead of 0 , and the logger does not let me have the Zero written as 0 but it writes it very like the letter O , hence the problem … But this time it also passed a formal error like that I9K1D… and so I decided to fire it !
Hence, if you know of a valid error checker, many thanks !
